Paid communities for creators and educators

You create.
We run the community.

Behind the Creator builds, launches and runs paid communities for creators who are busy and don't have the time to run one. You keep making the content your audience already loves. We handle everything behind it.

  • Built on Skool
  • Partnership model
  • Your brand, your audience

What we do

A paid community around your content, without it becoming your second job.

Your audience already trusts you. A paid community gives them a place to go deeper with you. We take on the building and the day to day running so it doesn't eat your week.

01

Build

We study your content and audience, then design the community: a course plan, a classroom with one course per module, covers, the About page and a pricing plan that fits your audience.

02

Launch

We set everything up, get the community ready for your audience and plan how you talk about it, so launch day feels like a natural next step for your followers.

03

Operate

We run it day to day: posting, moderation, member support, payments and a monthly report. We even write scripts for the content you record.

The split of work

You stay in front of the camera. We stay behind it.

What you do

  • Show up for a regular live call with your members
  • Record the content we plan together
  • Mention the community to your audience
  • Keep doing what you're already great at

What we handle

  • Research, strategy and the offer
  • Community setup, courses, covers and About page
  • Scripts for the content you record
  • Daily posting, moderation and member support
  • Payments, payouts and a monthly revenue report

How it works

Four simple steps. No guesswork.

  1. 1

    A quick intro

A 10-15 min Google Meet, or a 3-4 min Loom if you'd rather watch first. We talk about your channel, your audience and what you sell today.

  2. 2

    Deep research

We go through your videos, bio, links and current offers to find the gap a paid community can fill for your audience.

  3. 3

    See it first

We show you what your community could look like, with a course plan, covers and an offer built around your content, before you commit to anything.

  4. 4

    Launch and grow

We partner up, launch it with you and run it from there. You focus on creating. We keep the lights on behind the scenes.

Who it's for

Creators who teach something.

We work best with creators and educators whose audience comes to them to learn a skill, a hobby or a job. If people already ask you for more, a community is the natural next step.

  • You have an engaged audience on YouTube or a podcast
  • Your audience wants to learn from you, not just watch you
  • You're busy and don't have time to run a community yourself
  • You want a new income stream without hiring a team

A note from the founder

"I run paid communities for creators like you who are busy and don't have the time to run one."

I'm David Goldman, and I run Behind the Creator full time. I'm not a contractor you hand a brief to. I partner with you, so I only win when your community does. I speak English, Russian and Ukrainian.

FAQ

Good questions. Straight answers.

What platform do you use?

We build on Skool, the platform many of the top paid communities run on. It combines courses, a community feed, live calls and payments in one place, so your members get a clean experience.

How much of my time will this take?

Much less than running it yourself. Usually it comes down to a regular live call and recording the content we plan together. We write the scripts and handle the rest.

Do I need to be technical?

Not at all. We handle setup, courses, design, payments and the day to day running. You just show up as yourself.

How does the partnership work?

We work as partners rather than a typical agency, so we're invested in your community doing well. Every creator is different, so we walk through the details together on a quick call.

Can I see what it would look like first?

Yes. Apply and ask for a 3-4 min Loom, and we'll show you ideas for a community built around your content. If it clicks, we can go deeper on a Google Meet.

I already run a Skool group. Can you still help?

Possibly. Send an application and we'll look at your community and offers together and share what we'd change.

What kind of creators do you work with?

Creators and educators who teach a skill, a hobby or a job, with an audience that wants to learn from them. Music, sports, fitness, beauty, exam prep, trades and more.

Creator application

Curious what your community could look like?

Tell us a little about you and your audience. It takes about two minutes. David reads every application personally and replies with next steps, usually a quick 10-15 min Google Meet or a 3-4 min Loom with ideas for your community.

  1. Apply. Share your channel and what you teach.
  2. Hear back. David looks at your content and audience.
  3. Talk. A short Google Meet or Loom, whichever you prefer.
